After you’re done pedaling in the slough, before heading back to the dock, you might enjoy venturing into Moss Landings South Harbor. You will see families of Sea Lions basking on almost every dock as well as bountiful birdlife.

Please stay clear of all watercrafts in the boat lane and South Harbor – It is illegal to interfere with any moving vessels.

South Harbor is the largest commercial fishing harbor in Monterey Bay with some 600+ boat slips. You’ll see a wide variety of vessels – from dingys -- to ships those reminiscent of the Pirates of the Caribbean -- to large fishing boats heading for the depths of Monterey Bay.
